gratitude: day 15

Today, I'm grateful for
sadie sue.

she doesn't have a middle name
but we've always called her
sadie sue.

she's my right arm.
until this year, she was my only daughter.
i love that we are close.

we saw this bright yellow wall
and had to stop for a few pictures.
what a gal.

right now
she's "in love" with fashion and design
and wishes our budget could accomodate.

what i love about sadie:

she knows who she is
and her countenance shows it.
her friends say she's "always happy."
good thing they don't see her at 6:30 am. :)

i love that she and her father in heaven are close.

here's her "i am" poem she wrote this week...
an assignment in her beehive class at church:

i am
by sadie fillmore

i am the kind of girl who tries her best
learns to her full potential
and always tries to lift others up.

i love being with my family and friends
socializing and partying.
i love to sleep in.
i love to eat...almost anything!

i know that i am a daughter of God
i have a strong testimony of the gospel.
i pray for inspiration
and thank my father in heaven for my answers.

i am SADIE FILLMORE.

Wow! This had to leave you in tears! What a wonderful girl she is growing up to be! I always muse at the far reaching effects just one truly strong and devoted daughter of God can have on the world. The ripple effect can truly boggle the mind...you also deserve the applause for being a wonderful mother and example to her.
