Hee Haws!

I took the three younger kiddos and Sadie to Hee-Haw Farms Tuesday afternoon.  Sadie was home from school with her 2nd bout with Strep that day, (that's what you get for not finishing your antibiotics, sis!) so she came along, too.
Hee Haw's is a farm that opens in the fall for a corn maze and lots of fall activities. But they just started opening it up in the spring too, for hay rides, pony rides, big slides and a petting zoo.   My good friend, DeEtte and her little girl, Emma came with us.

It was so nice just enjoying the beautiful spring weather
and celebrating newness of life that comes this time of year.

Anya was so fascinated with the animals. She loved every minute of it!  So did the boys!

I took the picture below on the left, then a few seconds later, Anya moved over to the big turkey.
Notice anything different?

Pure exhileration!  She LOVED this slide!

Emma wouldn't ride the animal train without her mom.
I think DeEtte was secretly glad, though.  Doesn't this look fun?

Bennett learned about how calves get their milk-up close!

Getting ready to take off on our hay ride

 Happy Spring, y'all!

Your kids are so cute!

My parents treated the grandkids to an evening at Hee Haws last week. William was the same way with the slide. He just couldn't get enough. His face was pure joy going down every time. I loved the baby animals!

Oh, looks like fun (minus the strap)! My parents just vacationed on a farm about one week ago. They all liked it too and Matteo even milked a cow (okay, let's say he tried). And the horses of course!
I love the picture of Anya'a cute little bum- so funny.
Keep enjoying the spring!
