What will we find at 4 pm on an unusually warm, late-April afternoon?

Why, we'll find Anya still in her school clothes.  

Making mud pie, of course.

We'll find that Eli has tossed an apple over our temporary fence to his little girlfriend, Ellen, and that they are in a blissful exchange of conversation.

We'll find Bennett quietly playing with Legos in his room.

and Max showing something really cool to his friend on the computer.

About an hour later, we'll find Sadie entertaining her little bro and sis with the iPad

while Mom figures out what to make for dinner.

And we'll find Landon off at his friend, Drew's house

later calling to ask if he can eat over.
