Well, folks. Looks like Jeremy is officially in the last year of his thirties. He turned the big 3-9 on Monday. It seems like we were just barely celebrating his 29th. Don't ask me where the last ten years went. He does have a few wrinkles and gray hairs coming in for proof, though. One thing I do know is that I sure am lucky that he was born all those years ago, and that he's ours.

The Festivities
We started the evening by decorating the house for Christmas.
Then the birthday boy opened his present and card from me.
And lastly, we had a visit from our friends, the Glenn's. Jeremy has been their home teacher for the past few years. It was much more fun eating our Costco Chocolate Cream Pie and ice cream with friends. 
The Glenn's shared a couple of their family birthday traditions with us. 1) Everyone hides and the birthday person comes into the room and they all yell "SURPRIZE!!" Even though it's not a surprize. and 2) you sing "Happy Birthday to You" just as loud and off-tune as possible. It definately brought a new excitement to the celebration. Notice the new birthday shirt.from me. It says "Fillmore University." Pretty awesome, I know.

i love reading what you as a family are doing, it is so right.the poems the kids wrote, were wonderful, i wish i could do as well. max, you tell us when you play ball next year,we will try to come down, if your mom can remember!!!!???? love ya all.gf-
Remember Jeremy, you are now in your 40th year...the 30's are officially over for you my friend! And you are now one year closer to being as old as me! Thanks for having us over to celebrate your birth...it was fun.
