The day was wonderful. Not warm in temperature, but filled with the Spirit of God and lots of love.
The main attributes that everyone commented about in the funeral were 1)his love for the Gospel and 2)the unassuming way that he accepted everyone, no matter how they were living their lives. Even the Stake President quoted Grandpa with a swear word.:) Grandpa was probably the only bishop in our church who would meet with one of his members and use swear words in his council. Everyone knew he loved the Lord and that he loved them, and that he never judged them. People were drawn to him because they felt at home in his presense. What an attribute.
Until we meet again, Grandpa. We love you.
