Title of Artwork: Exploration
Medium: Acrylic Paint on Canvas.
Artists: Bennett Fillmore and a 4-year-old ward member.
Date of Creation: Oct 21, 2008
Reason: Mom was upstairs being visit taught and had no clue.
Notice the beautiful texture that the rolling pin created.
And the way the paint was pushed right off the edge of the canvas.
Onto our beautiful carpet.
What's funny is that Bennett had no clue that there was anything wrong with this. When I discovered the crime scene, he happily exclaimed, "Mom, we're painting!" He had taken the canvas off the wall (one that he had painted before,) and climbed up in the closet to reach the box of paints. This is a new thing. Either he had a very encouraging accomplice, or he's sensing that he's about to turn 3.

Oh Heather!! Wow! I love how he thought there was nothing wrong with his creation. Hopefully it comes out of your carpet! Glad you can find joy in this. By the way, do you want to go to the dinner at Goodsell's together? Let me know.
Oh Bennett!
Are you sure you want another one? :-)
