I just realized that I haven't updated my blog on our process for a while.
Sad story: The "nice" judge that we are waiting for decided not to be so nice. She's extending her summer vacation until August 27. This means it will be at least the first of October before we go for court because it takes about a month to travel after your dossier is submitted. She'll have cases backed up, so we'll have to wait in line for our turn.
Luckily, our agency verified that the baby home will keep Hazel there until we come, even though she turns four the first week in Sept. The truth is, this birthday would be a very sad one for her if we weren't on our way.
Even though this dang waiting game is the pits, we feel like our daughter is being protected and we're trusting in the Lord's perfect timing. It's all good.
