The day after Christmas, KSL news sent a cameraman and a photographer over to our house. The cameraman asked a bunch of questions about our adoption from Russia and our thoughts on the big, bad BAN that's been put into place by Putin. Here's the link to the news story.
While they were here, Landon grabbed the camera and took a couple of pictures. I thought they would be fun to go back and look at some day, so I'm posting them.

They asked us to do something together so they could get some video and pictures of us hanging out as a family. So we cleared off the messy table and counters and pulled out the games that Santa brought. Landon joked that it's probably the first time we've ever sat down as an entire family to play a game around the table. Ha ha. It's true. The only time we do things like this is either with just the little kids or just the older kids. It's too hard to make it work when we're all together!
In this picture, Jeremy is on the phone trying to get Max home from his friend's house so he could be in the pictures. He was too late. :(

I wish I could say that the ban against Americans adopting Russian children didn't pass. But it did, and their president signed the bill. It's absolutely wrong that they have done this. We're praying every day that that the amendment will go through so at LEAST the children who have NO CHANCE of ever being adopted by Russians will be allowed to be adopted by Americans. We're some of the only people who will do it, and without us, there's no hope for any of them to ever have families of their own. Please pray!
