Happy Birthday, USA!

We had a great Fourth!

Jeremy took Max and Bennett to the BIG parade in Provo first thing in the morning.
I think they liked it.

What a life.

The rest of us stayed home and slept in
(or at least some of the rest of us slept in. Wishful thinking.)

When they got home, we packed a lunch, then headed up to my sister, Jen's house for some swimming!
My other sister, Michelle,  who lives in the same city also joined us with her family.
We're loving the new pool, Jen!

Landon catching a ball mid-air!

Jeremy and Dave acted as rocket boosters for a good half-hour.  The kids tried to jump right into the tube! I think Boston was the only one who made it!

Jeremy going for a ball-catch-twist!

It was actually windy and cool that afternoon. Good thing the water was nice and warm!

Michelle with her daughter, Tess and Sadie.  Michelle left today for Ethiopia! They are going to meet their FOUR new children (siblings) for the first time. Their family of 7 is about to become ELEVEN!  Can't wait to see those first pictures.

That night, we put E & A to bed, then we let the kids join their friends around the neighborhood for fireworks. This was the first year that the big Aerial fireworks were actually legal for anyone who wants to buy them in Utah. So we enjoyed quite a show just on our own street!

Happy Birthday, USA!  We love you!
