What we Love Most about New Years' at "The Cabin"

1. Celebrating with the Cabin Crew

Even with only three families this year, it was still a blast.

2. Counting down to midnight

(even if it's secretly Texas' midnight, not ours. Shhhh...)

4. Playing Down By the River of the Hanky Panky.

5. Dancing to "Everybody Dance Now!"

6. Listening to the dads tell stories by the crackling fire.

(Luckily they were only a little bit scary.)

7. Roasting Marshmallows

8. Lots of conversation.

9. The food. And more food. And more food.

10. The hot tub.

and

11. The sledding

Check out this awesome jump that Landon made!

Woo Hoo!

This year, we stopped at The Zermott Resort on the way home and checked out some majestic ice castles.

Pretty awesome.

We are so grateful to the Brady's for sharing their parents' cabin with us for the past 16 years. If it weren't for the Midway cabin, we probably would have all gone our seperate ways after college and maybe exchanged Christmas cards and that's it. It's been so great to associate with such positive, uplifting, high-achieving, loving people. We are fortunate.
