We met G&G Fillmore, Bennett (who had been staying with them in Smithfield since the day before) and cousins Jaxon and Carter for dinner. We had plans to go to a great restaurant, but it was closed. Much to our dismay, the birthday boy chose (or rather demanded) Arctic Circle as our dining destination. He'd been cooped up in a car for 3 hours and just wanted to play. Can you blame him? Artic Circle it was.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
The rest of the gifts were opened at home. A cool lift-the-flap book for church from G&G Hinton, a dinasour, a new book and a AquaDoodle Mat from Mom and Dad.
The CakePumpkin Pie Dump Cake. A fluffy pumpkin pie layer on the bottom, topped with yellow cake mix, butter and pecans on the top. Not your typical 3-year-old birthday cake. Sorry Bennett. But it shore was tasty.
Pin the Tail on the Donkey
Grandma won!
Pin the Tail on the Donkey Dad sketched a lovely donkey on which we could pin a tail. He was real cute. Landon added braces to his smile.

Looks like he got treated like special boy on his big day. Happy Birthday Bennett. We love you! Thanks again Heather for taking time out to celebrate my Birthday today too. Your the greatest sis ever! I can't wait to be inspired by my new motherhood book. I'm diving into it tomorrow after church.
Happy birthday Bennett!!!
Happy Birthday Bennett! Looks like you had a fun day. Even if no one wanted to eat at Arctic Circle.
