Girls Summer Club

Sadie and I put together a Summer Craft Club. It's all girls in the neighborhood, ages 9-10. They meet every Thursday afternoon for two hours. Each mom is in charge once. They have two hours to do fun projects and learn to cook. When they came to our house a few weeks ago, they made beaded bracelets and soft pretzels. It brings me back a few years and reminds me of summer sewing projects at this age, making pillows and barbie clothes, or whatever else we could create.

What a great idea! I'll have to do this with Brooklyn next summer.

Thanks so much Heather for spear-heading this. Abbie is really enjoying it!
