Baby Boy Eli turned SIX today!
Seems like yesterday that I was holding his tiny bum in my hand. :)
Now he's a big kid.
Running around the neighborhood in his new cowboy boots.
Dang, I wish he didn't have to grow up so darn fast!
Normally, we bring breakfast in bed to birthday kids before they get up,
but today was Saturday and we were snug in our beds when he woke up at 7:30.
We let him crawl into our bed and wait while we made his requested breakfast:
A Belgium waffle with a smiley face on it.
We made the face out of strawberries, a banana slice and a piece of bacon,
Seems like yesterday that his siblings were all adoring him in his newness.

Now, they are just adoring his presents.
That's OK. He's still my baby.
His only request for a present: Cowboy boots!
This kid just loves to dress up.
He has a friend who wears cowboy boots
so he has been asking for them for months.
YES!!
G&G Hinton sent his present with us a few weeks ago when we were passing through St. George.
He finally got to open it today! Hockey sticks. Sweet!
We invited a few neighborhood friends over for a party.
We opened presents.
We ate cake and ice cream
We played Bounce the ping-pong ball onto the peanut buttered bread.
a little Twister
And of course, his #1 request: Pinata!
We also made homemade silly putty out of Elmer's glue and liquid Starch.
They loved that. I forgot to take pictures, though!
Fun day for the Eli-ster. We love this kid so much!
