My big, huge, awesome family met up over Labor Day weekend
at a cabin near Brianhead Ski Resort in Southern Utah.
It was so gorgeous there, and it had been a few years since we had
all stayed overnight in one place for a reunion. The kids were missing the
good 'ol days when they could play with their cousins all weekend long
in one place. So we planned it and went for it.
The cabin is a mile from the top of Cedar Mountain.
Grandma and Grandpa loved having their family all together, even though the
high altitude made them tired and wheezy.
Sadie was happy to see her cousin, Krista again, who just returned from her 18 month mission in Texas. This is after they sat in the hot tub. They were washing off all the dead skin that was floating in it. :)
Jeremy and Ryan made a yummy spaghetti dinner one night.
Saturday night, we had a talent show. Much of it was impromptu.
Hazel and Anya basked in all the attention as they danced to their favorite song,
"Let it Go."
Anya just loved chilling out with her cousins all weekend. As happy as can be.
We celebrated Grandpa's 78th birthday while we were there! The grandkids all made him
cards and he read them out loud so everyone could hear. It was so sweet.
Here's Anya taking a try at Minute to Win It. I love Korver's expression. "What is she doing?"
I love these pictures that Jen took of the Patriarch of the family.
My Dad.
I can hardly look at these without getting choked up.
He means so much to me.
I'll add some more good quality pictures as soon as Jen gets hers edited and shares them with us. :)
This was such a great weekend. We'll always remember it.
