For Easter this year, G&G F. sent us a book all about the Resurrection.
It was a perfect way to start the day of celebrating our Risen Lord. The kids loved it!
Soon after, it was time to hunt for the Easter baskets and candy.

It's been SO fun watching our back yard leaf out for the first time.
We fell in love with this place when it was all green in September,
but by the time we moved in in November, the leaves had nearly all fallen.
It's been just like Christmas morning every day as we
wake up to more greenery out back. Loving it!
It's now May 9 and the huge Mulberry trees are finally starting to grow their leaves.

I somehow got the kids to come out after church
a couple of weeks ago for a quick snapshot.
It didn't happen on Easter. They had changed clothes too fast!
But it worked out great because it was the weekend of Landon's prom
so he still had his tux. He wore it that day, sans the vest and bowtie.
It's not easy getting a picture where Hazie Crazy is looking at the camera.
This was one out of like 15.
Yay, we got one!

This was actually a really special day, as well.
Right after we took this picture, Sadie and Landon,
Jeremy and I
went over to our Stake Patriarch, Brother Anderson's house
and
both of our teens received their patriarchal blessings.
They were absolutely amazing and beautiful.
Jeremy and I left feeling so privileged to be their parents,
and excited for their lives ahead.
So many great things in store for these two.
