The fresh strawberries and little sponge cakes were calling our names at Costco. A little unconventional for a birthday cake, but it worked, and it was yummy!
You are so lucky to have girl cousins who no longer play with their doll house, and a generous aunt who was happy to pass it along. What a perfect birthday gift this made!
Grandma Hinton gave you a big princess coloring pad.
You loved it so much that we let you stay up past your bedtime to color! Sadie loves it, too.
We all wonder sometimes how we got so lucky to have been chosen as your family. You have given our lives new meaning and taught us many, many lessons these past 15 months. Some of them have been hard lessons to learn, but I think that the most important lessons for us to learn are the ones that are hard. Every one of your challenges...our challenges...have turned into incredible blessings. I'm pretty sure they will continue to do so as we press through this life together.
