Max the Great

I know I just posted some of Max's artwork last week, but I found this little treasure in his backpack this morning and couldn't just tuck it away.  In his 3rd grade class, they have been learning about tall tales.  They had an assignment to write one.  They had go through the process of prewriting, writing, then revising the story.   He got 25/25 on it!  This boy has quite the imagination and pays very close attention to detail.  I hope he gains a love of writing because I can see that he will be great at it!

10/16/10  I just have to add to this post, an e-mail that I just received from Max's awesome teacher, Mrs. Webster.  It made my momma heart nearly burst with pride.

I just wanted to write a note and express how much I am enjoying Max in my class. He did an absolutely wonderful job on his oral presentation of his biography. I appreciated his enthusiasm and example in being the first one to do his report. Hopefully, it will motivate the other students to do as good of work. He is always willing to participate and do whatever I ask of him. He is extremely respectful, and I am very proud of how well he is doing. Thanks for sharing your amazing son with me. He is a delight to work with!
