Catch-up Time

Oh, how I've missed this blog. I hope it will forgive my neglect.
We've been a little busy.

It's been 10 years that we've been in this neighborhood.
We've loved it dearly and made many life-long friends.
But we are feeling like it's time for a change.
No particular reason...(except that we loath our tiny back yard)
it just feels really right....to all of us.

We found a house in a town a half hour south of here.
We love it soooo much we put an offer on it
the day after we went through it.

Everything has fallen into place perfectly.
Our offer was accepted...we got a great deal!
Our current house sold really fast
and we're moving in two weeks!

More on that later.

Here's a quick catch-up. A few more highlights from August and September.

In August:

The first two weeks marked the end of our summer break.
Landon went to EFY in Provo with his cousin, Sam
Then he turned 17.

Wow! We still can't believe we have a 17 year old
who will be out serving a mission in less than a year!

Landon's best buddy, Kyle made this giant cinnamon roll for him.

Landon's Birthday breakfast

The next week, it was time for School to start!
WOO HOO!!
(So glad the kids were as excited as I was about this.)

The next week, our two preschoolers started their 2nd year at preschool.

The week after that, the stomach flu made it's way through the kids.
I think every one of them except Landon stayed home one day with nausea.
We seem to get this every year at back-to-school time.
Hate that!

Labor Day Weekend, we spent a night in Park City.
Our first attempt at a family vacation with all 7 kids.
We survived!
I'm pretty sure everyone had fun, too.
