Time for the June Happenings post!
School lets out at the end of May for us, so we're into summer as soon as June starts.
Our trip back east took place the first week of June. So normal home life actually started the 2nd week!
The week after our trip, Sadie went with the young women in our ward to Palisades State Park for Girls Camp. She had a blast!
When she walked in the door after being gone for 4 days, the girls ran up to her for hugs. Anya especially adores her big sis, Sadie. They have a special bond.
One afternoon, I took the four littles and two of Bennett's friends to a nearby park that has a stream running next to it.
One of Bennett's friends was adorable with Hazel and was right there, helping her get up on the big rocks. She told him what she thought, though. She wanted to do it herself!
She forgave him, though. :)
So cute.

Sadie came to help, but just ended up sitting on the blanket the whole time. :)
I was so proud of Hazel. This was her first experience with super cold water. She took the cold like champ, though.
The boys spent the time building a dam in the water. Fun stuff.

Here we have a typical afternoon for A & H. Anya obviously dressed herself that morning, as she was wearing winter clothes in the summer. And of course Hazel is nearly naked. She loves to strip down when she's outside. Glad to see she at least had her pull-up on!

Anya loved little Olivia, who is the first baby to be born to any of our nieces or nephews.
We need to have her come play more often. She is so stinkin' cute! Her dad is attending BYU so they aren't too far away.
