Anya's birthday was on Monday this year.
The day before, I took some pictures of our pretty Russian princess in her pink dress
that used to be Big Sister's.
We invited our good friends, the Englebright's over to celebrate with us. They moved to Midway a year ago so we don't get to see them much. Unfortunately we didn't get more than little Emma in our pictures. But we loved having them here to help us make Anya feel special.
The palate expander has done a beautiful job at widening her mouth.
See how nice and wide this smile is now?
It is helping her to not get sinus infections
and her speech has improved, too, even with that bar across the top
of her mouth. We're glad we did it.
We love our Anya.
